The coin has the portrait of George V and around the coin it says 'George V King Emperor'. On the back of the coin it says 1 4 Rupee 1913. George V was Emperor of India from 1910 1936. India gained independence from British in 1948. The brooch and coin are set in silver. The coin is from the Calcutta mint. MEASUREMENTS The brooch measures 4cm
