Onderhandelingen met een geest History Michel Four poemsDuring her residency at the Jan van Eyck Academy in the fall of 2020, Gerda Blees wrote the essay Onderhandelingen met een geest (Talking With the Dead), investigating her fascination with death by starting a dialogue with her deceased sister. The text was written on a typewriter and printed in a limited edition of 70 copies with a mimeograph at the Printing & Publishing Lab of the Jan van Eyck Academy. Michele Hutchison translated the text to English.
