These are extremely rare models, as Fender made a small number in the USA before they switched production to Mexico in 1997, so 99. 9% of GC 1s you see are Mexican. Weight is 8 pounds, 3 ounces. Some of the differences from the Mexico model beyond overall build quality, are: factory hard case 2 point tremolo with block
